Romford District Scout's St George’s Day Parade – Update for Residents

Dear resident 

You may have seen some press coverage over the past week suggesting that this year’s Romford District Scout's St George’s Day Parade had been cancelled. We want to reassure you that this was not the case. 

While there were planning issues to work through between the event organiser and Havering Council, these have now been resolved and the parade will be going ahead as planned.

Havering Police are proud to support and police the Scout’s St George’s Day Parade along with many other community events in Havering. As we have done for many years our officers will be attending the Parade to protect the local community and ensure young people and their families can celebrate safely together
